El Paso Education Online
Many college and university courses are now available
completely online and open to registered students. All you need is access to a
computer and an internet connection, and you could be working toward a college
degree.
There are two basic types of online courses:
Hybrids are courses where much of the coursework is done online, but
students still meet face-to-face with the instructor on a limited basis.
100% Online Courses are just that, all communication with the instructor happens online, usually in the form of e-mail and web
page downloads. Contrary to popular misperceptions, 100% online courses include
a large amount of interaction with the instructor and the other students in the
same section. Best of all, you can work from home, from your office, from
school, from the public library, Kinko's or from any other place that allows you
to use computers. You can even register and apply for financial aid online. The
following links take you to local and state providers of these courses and
programs.
